I've been pretty busy myself. Unluckily for me, the tenth anniversary of Chrono Trigger is my first day of school for the new school year. It sucks though, I have like 12 hour days + homework. I have to get up at like 6:30 am then school ends at 4:00 p.m. and I have to do 2 hours of band practice (yes, I'm in band). I also have to go to a football game on Saturday. The end of Summer break makes me sad since it causes all this madness.
*On the side, here is a mini tutorial for Anim8or. Sorry if this is a little too basic (and long) but I just decided to start from the beginning* To get you going create a primitive object by clicking these in the menu: Build -> Primitives -> Anything but an N-gon (If you do make an n-gon, then you'll have to select the entire object and click Build -> Extrude. This will extrude the object on the axis you pick with the length and other things you pick. Once this is done the object's points can be moved and edited.). Then click and drag to create it. From that, if you click the object/point edit icon (looks like a 3 black squares), you'll see a wireframe with points that you can move by selecting them with the select or drag select icons and then clicking the move icon. You can only add an edge to a pre-existing object (unless it's a path but that's a lesson for another day). To modify the faces you must click the face select icon (looks like a black triangle). After that just click a face on an object and you can do any of the options in the lower section of the icon selection.
Sorry about that. If you need more there are a collection of interesting tutorials on that site. I recommend doing the hand creation tutorial. It covers a lot.

Thanks for the help. It certainly explains more than I had before (though it was still quite a bare explanation). Really though, thanks. At least it gives me some ideas (ex: start with a sphere, and just drag all those little points around until you create the shape you wanted). Also, I didn' t know about the face selection stuff, so that should be quite helpful (though I did figure out how to make objects transparent, so I can create the dome section of my castle...).
Well, good luck to everyone, as it sounds like time around here is going to decrease. As for me, the same can be said, especially since I need to get my classes setup for college, and find a job (the job, I like that idea, I need the money. School though, I'd rather not, though I realize it is a VERY VERY big deal, so I sort of need it). Anyway, goodluck, and hopefully things will calm down for everyone. Mouser X over and out.

Since this is given the topic of general discussion, I figured I'd bring this up. For those of you who are Super Smash Bro. Melee fans, you can download the the actual sound files used in the game. They're torrented right now, and there's at least a few peoeple seeding (me included). Also, for those interested in Star Fox: Assualt, that one is up as well. The addresses are thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3408546 for SFA, and for SSBM it's thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3408303Hope you all enjoy! I just thought I'd add that I'm still seeding the torrents I mentioned, if anyone is interested. Also, there's 3 more available now. Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, and Paper Mario 2 are now all available. The links can be found at this address: bt.halleyscometsoftware.com/Also, if you do get the torrents. the Paper Mario 2 torrent includes v.1.9 of the in_dsp plugin which plays the files through Winamp. That plugin can also be found at thie link: www.halleyscometsoftware.com/in_dsp.htmlI hope you enjoy the torrents! Mouser X over and out.

Well, it's been awhile since I checked here... However, progress has been made in numerous things. One of which is in_cube. In_cube is a Winamp plugin that plays DSPs from Gamecube games, ADPs (GC's version of CD audio), and ADXs. ADX can be found in many games, on many platforms, so this opens up support for quite a few games. Also, the HCS Tracker has over 50 sets available now, so chances are you'll find something there that interests you. Anyway, sorry I haven't been around sooner. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy! My little brother got me a Nintendo DS. That's the best thing I got. The rest was pretty good to, I suppose. I got a Lego watch. I think that's pretty cool.
I bought Meteos for my NDS, and am now officially completely broke. Hopefully I can find a job so that I can get enough money to buy the new Zelda game when it comes out... Anyone have any suggestions?
Anyway, happy new year! Mouser X over and out.

Wow, it's been busy here... Not really... But, as far as the DS goes, it's official. Nintendo is releasing a re-design for the DS in Japan. It launches in March. Here's a couple of links for you to see some pictures of it. Maybe you should wait for the re-design before you buy one? As for what I've been up to? MAN! I found this awesome game called Blockland! It's an online Lego based game. "It's the game where you build stuff." Really, you should give this a try. It's small, and definatly a blast (for me at least). I'm using the Return to Blockland mod. It adds more pieces, more inventory to work with, vehicles, more maps, ect. Great game all around, IMO. Though, since the author plans on releasing a retail version, the free version hasn't recieved any updates in at least a year. So, occasionaly it's a little unstable. Usually though, the mods, and those modding it, try to fix those problems as best as they can. In other words, it works pretty good, most of the time. Occasionaly though, if you get to many people (or vehicles) on the server, for example, it will lag really badly, and occasionaly crash (though rarely does it take down the whole PC). Yah, that's just a heads up. Really, this is a great game. Highly recommended. And that's what I've been busy with for about 2 weeks now... If all goes REALLY well, I might host a server that has my Time Castle on display (made out of Legos, of course). Though, due to some limitations, it will probably be smaller than I would really model/design it. Well, I guess it'll probably be another 3-4 weeks before I check back here again...
