I only read the opening quote,
'Dedicated to exposing and denouncing Square's most dismal failure.'
And decided I probably wouldn't like this page very much.
I guess everyones entitled to there own opinion, but considering where chrono trigger ranked in the Gamefaqs and IGN best game of all time polls it seems his opinion doesn't mean a whole lot.

I think most of the things he listed as negatives actually contributed to the game's success. For example, the number of playable characters allowed for a lot of variety, while still focusing the story and giving them all depth. Chrono Cross actually screwed this very thing up by making too many characters playable.
Also, the lack of random encounters makes the game much faster. Besides, the enemies are usually underlings of some of your enemies. The random encounters would be just some random monsters, which don't really exist in the game. It makes the game more enjoyable and fastpaced, while you still get to fight plenty. It also allows the combat system to utilize character placement, since they aren't abstractly just 'somewhere on the map', but they actually have locations, which allows some variety in the area effect of different techs and Magic as 'all' and 'one' aren't the only options.
The other points are like that. In effect, he would've wanted Chrono Trigger to be Final Fantasy. He's clearly a Final Fantasy-player who thinks that's the perfect format. Majority agrees with him, hence why Chrono Trigger is considered superior to basically all Final Fantasies with the possible exception of FF7, and even that's just a matter of taste. He also seems to think games should make physically sense. Newsflash, all RPGs have their flops in that regard.
Ultimately, my thoughts on this can be condensed into "It's his opinion as a diehard fanatic of another style of game, and his attempt to make up problems where none exist." So no, I really don't agree with almost anything the site lists. There're few things, of course, which are wrong even with CT, but nothing is absolutely perfect.
