So, I enjoy creating scripts for modern plays, games, and TV shows but I always end up abandoning the work. At first I thought it was something like ADD but I found out that I have writers block. Often the idea is uber-exciting but when I go to write it down, the ideas leave my head and then I get discouraged. I could use some help on the subject and would also enjoy seeing if someone else has my problems. Wow, I'm surprised I could finish this post, it took me three months, lol.

I have to say, I experience a similar phenomenon. If only I could record my thoughts... Of course, the problem with that is that you'd have to sort out all the unecessary stuff. Not to mention the problems it would create if someone found your recorded thoughts... So, overall, while it would be pretty nice in some ways, I think the pros would be outweighed by the cons.
As for suggestions on a solution, the best I can offer is to write anyway. Even if it's in bullet note fashion, at least it would be a start. And, doing that might trigger some more thought. Also good would be to openly discuss your ideas with others. Though, that needs to be done carefully. It's usually best if it's someone you can actually talk to. An internet aquantance isn't recommended, as it's not quite personable enough (though, I'm not saying it can't be, in some circumstances), and you never know. Me being the paranoid person that I am, I'd be worried that they'd steal my ideas...
Hopefully these suggestions are useful to you. Sorry I don't have more to offer. Though, if I could put into practice those 2 things, I think I might actually have something written (not necessarily published, mind you) by now. The problem I run into is that typing takes a long time (i'm secretly impatient. I can hide it pretty well most of the time), and I have a hard time finding anyone that's interested enough in my story ideas to contribute back to them.
Anyway, good luck with that. Mouser X over and out.

I find that like mouser says even if the thoughts leave try writing any ways.. I've been working on a story for something like 2 - 3 years now and its only 70 some pages into it, but that also writing it by hand, and I usually only write it at work. alot of time I would just lose interest and stop writing for long periods of time then I would get back at it. but then I would lose interest again, so it kinda sucks . I don't even know where the book is now as I've just moved at the beggining of this month and I'm still in the process of sorting everything, although I think I tossed it into another box . anyways, again just try writing anyways, even if it doesn't have anything to do with what you were originally going to write, it may jog your memory or just get you into the feel of it again.
