It's our in-house editor, developed for our private use.

That's cool. I didn't know it was that specific. I figured you were using something like, 3D Studio Max, or something. You guys actually built you're own editor? Go team! Keep up the great work! Who knows, perhaps, if all goes well, they'll release a "user" version of the editor (for like, adding our own levels maybe?). Actually, though, that's probably unlikely, since the editor was probably made for their game engine, which they (did) plan on using (a long time ago) for a later date (if all goes well).
Anyway, I think that's great news to hear. It lets me, at least, know that somethings up (which I have beleived all along). Mouser X over and out.

Mouser_X, you pretty much nailed it on the head with that last part. Well, we can use any program such as 3D Studio Max, Maya or Milkshape 3D to create the actual models, but then we use the in-house editor to create the environment, place the models in there and then orchestrate story events.
P.S. I've been reading the final draft of Act 1 of the script that Kenji has been working on. All I can say is, DAMN! You guys are in for one hell of a game.

As a little side not to this though it's semi related:
Does anyone know a place or site where I could get 3DS Max for longer than their standard trial time for free. I would like to have the program but don't really have hundreds of dollars to spend. I've heard that there's a book or something that you can buy that gives you a registration code that let's you use it for a year or something like that. And I mean get it LEGALLY of course.

Oh, legally. Well then, sorry, I can't help you... I have an old version (Like, 5 years old, I think). I've never used it, but it's quasi-legal, since my brother got it legally, and gave me a copy. However, for some reason, to get it to work, he needed to "crack" it. Yes, even though he owned a legal copy, he still needed a hack to get it to work (there were reasons for this, but I can't remember what they were). So, yah, I'd let you use my copy, but it's really old, I can't garantee I can find it, and I'm not sure I would consider that completely legal...
Anyway, sorry I couldn't help more. Mouser X over and out.

I guess it doesn't matter if it's "legal" so long as it's not "traceable". If it involves you having to mail me stuff or something like that, I'm sure I can find other ways so don't worry. Thanks for the "tips".

yea sorry i really don't know of anywhere to get it legally, i could probably find a different program that you could use, or maybe even find a way to get it.
