I just played build 10 and 11, and I must say this is very cool! ;D Great Idea for a CT game, and I hope progress runs smoothly! Good luck! Cant wait to play the next build!

Build 10 and 11 are from UCT2's old engine. Since the staff has changed on this project quite a bit over the 3 or 4 years I've seen it, the main engine has also had some very serious overhauls as well. In other words, what you saw from those old builds is nothing compared to what they have in store with the newest engine. Honestly, I know just about as much as you do when it comes to developent, but from what I've heard, and based on the fact that it has been in development for a few years now, I would guess that things will be quite a surprise, if you base your expectations off of those 2 old builds.
Then again, if you base your expectations off of CT:R, then maybe it will be a let down? For that matter, maybe it will be better than CT:R, though that would be very difficult. Who knows. As I said, that's based on reading an old news post from, probably, a year ago or so. But yes, I also look forward to see what surprises they have in store. Mouser X over and out.

[ But yes, I also look forward to see what surprises they have in store. Mouser X over and out. I think we all are waiting expectantly, from the artwork thats shown on the UCT2 homepage to the screenshot i saw on the Chrono Compendium site and also the old builds i do so hope that this turns out to be what everyone is expecting.

I agree with the topic: "Great Project!" The game looks/plays smoothly. I googled to see what "CT: R" is and apparently it's Chrono Trigger: Resurrection, a freeware 3D game.. looks good but I was disappointed when I read this: www.xsorbit2.com/users/chronotrigger/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1096576095Square-Enix shut the project down.. That doesn't make any sense. It's not like they would lose money from the project or anything-- they could probably even make money off it, depending on how things go and whether or not they would make another official Chrono game.

Well guys, I fell obliged to tell you a little bit about this discussion... Even though I don't have permission to give you details, I can tell you that we are fighting hard to keep the project 3D, and to make it a adventure/exploration game much in the style of the original CT. I don't know if I should be saying this, but since this info is public anyway, I can tell you that to know more about the possible looks of UCT2, you should give a try to check these videos: www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jmonkeyengine&search=SearchGood luck!
