The Aeon Blade - One of the weapons featured in UCT2. The Anrui household where Crono and the others live. We decided to go in a different direction with the design and Esteban has done an excellent job making it look more natural. A partial model of Ayla. It's still a work in progress but it's a sample of what to expect when it comes to character designs in UCT2. Stay tuned for more in the near future!

Agreed. I'm glad to see the progress. It strongly reminds me of early PSX pre-rendered scenes. Though, I expect that these pictures are from actual in-game usage (meaning, it will look like this when playing the game. I strongly doubt that any of these were actually taken from "in-game). That's pretty cool. Keep up the awesome work. Mouser X over and out.

could you please send me a link of those pics? (The Early Psx, Pre-Rendered Scenes) I'd have to do some digging to find them. And when I say digging, I mean digging through my PSX game collection, and taking screenshots, and then uploading them, because I can't think of many places on the web that have them. If you've seen "Beyond the Beyond," then that one has an opening pre-rendered scene. Though, as I said, these models remind me of the look. These are definatly better looking than those early movies. Actually, thinking about it, it also, though not as much, reminds me of the style from "Super Mario RPG." Though, these are of WAY higher quality (though, that's in part due to the resolution differences of the SNES). If I play any PSX games, I'll be on the lookout for the pre-rendered scenes/styles these remind me of. I was playing Panzer Dragoon using SSF (Sega Saturn emulator), and that game has similar movie sequences, though these models (the ones displayed in this thread) definatly look better than the ones used in Panzer Dragoon (and that's not just the difference of resolution either). Perhaps I'll take a screenshot of that, just so you get a rough idea of what I'm refering to. But, if I do, keep in mind that these models here are definatly better than those in the Panzer Dragoon opening sequence (these just have the same stylistic look, in my opinion). Did that in any way answer your question? Or at least provide some clarity? Hopefully so. If not, sorry. I'll try to do better next time. Mouser X out.

Greetings people, I'm new to this web-board, So are you guys making a 3D CT game? If so I'm rooting for you all! I'm a big fan on the idea, in fact I was watching chrono trigger ressurection for a bit and I was severly dissapointed when Square-enix gave them the cease and desist. Looks like you guys are going around the problem by making it CT2 ^_^

Wow...
That was the first thing that came into my mind when I scrolled down the page. Nice work. While I'd like to see more, I'm more than content waiting. I'd rather you didn't give us more, and us be surprised, than to have a cease+desist from showing to much... Good luck, and don't stop! (Or slow down, for that matter. Unless you need to, of course) Mouser X over out.
