Wassup all, I'm new here and this site seems very interesting. Anyway I was wondering which Chrono is everybody's favorite. We'll probably get mostly CT but I want to hear why. Mine used to be CT until recently when I just happen to get my hands on Radical Dreamers and I came to accept CC more and played it over and I found self likeing CC over CT.

Truthfully I haven't played either in quite a while but I have more fond memories of chrono trigger, not to say I didn't really enjoy cc I just found ct's simplicity and shear fun-ability more charming I guess.

True I had many fond memories of CT. When I first played CC I was disappointed when there was no Crono and everybody else. I had this mind set the game was all about Crono but after playing Radical Dreamer I started to wonder what the whole series is mostly about and my conclusion was Schala/Kid. Like the way she can get reborn and stuff. Anyway I hope Square-Enix would resurrect Chrono series one day and continue on to make Chrono Break.
I don't get why they wouldn't. I mean seriously all these other games they got are crap (Front Mission and those Mana series) and I don't get why they picked up other developers games (Grandia, Full Metal Alchemist) why they they're making new games(Radiata Stories) and why they keep on trying to make sequels of FFVII???

When it comes down to it Square is a global organisation and what it prioritises it's releases by is how much money they will probably make. Thats where the problem lies, i think chrono cross sold about 5 million copies whereas ffvii sold about 20 million, so there will always be a tendency to go with the final fantasy series. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see Chrono Break I just think it will probably be quite a while. Alot of people have always had it in for Chrono Cross because of the lack of original characters and locations from chrono trigger but I never really had a problem with it. I love the way that the chrono series went with chrono cross. All this talk has prompted me to start playing chrono cross again, on psp on the train now though. I just don't get anytime to play games at home anymore, I'm either programming or at football training lately.
